Beach-Breaks
Praia da Areia Branca benefits from the proximity to Peniche area, which is the most diverse and consistent surfing region in Portugal and Europe. The coast positioning and the predominant winds serve the right conditions to form sandbars that produce really fun waves to ride.
Rivermouth Waves
Right at the mouth of the river in Praia da Areia Branca (Foz) there are consistently perfect waves breaking, both right and left-handers, suited to all kinds of surfing levels.
Double-Ups
Due to the swell consistency throughout the year and rocky formations of our coast, there are some really intense point-breaks around here, mainly working with perfect conditions during mid-seasons and Winter time.
Crumbly Rippable Days
Yes, we also have those days... It's a wave that breaks gently and is not too hollow, or too steep. The forgiving nature of our crumbly waves is what makes them the perfect choice for beginner surfers, as well as a fun playground for more skilled individuals.
